The acceptance of these rules forms part of the terms and conditions of attending any individual or group session held by the Mandurah ND Centre:
Confidentiality - discussion, whether individual or in a group setting, remains completely confidential and will not be disclosed in any many unless the full written consent is given by the participant/s.
Members must always be respectful, non-judgemental, and have the right to participate at their own free will, equally, in discussions.
Active listening should be shown at all times when someone is sharing their personal story. No interrupting, and listen attentively.
Members are encouraged to participate in group discussion, particularly if they have skills or talents that may be beneficial for other group members to know of, to maintain group interest and continuity of the group on a monthly basis.
Inappropriate or threatening behaviours may result in not being able to continue to attend any session (individual or group).
You give permission for the facilitator to contact you on your details provided, regarding group sessions, follow-up and/or feedback. Unless otherwise advised, Mandurah ND Centre will contact you either by phone or via email.
Mobile phones should be turned off or on silent mode during times of sharing and/or group discussion (unless otherwise organised prior)
We understand that each person may be at a different stage of diagnosis, and/or acceptance in moving forward on their autism journey and that this is respected at all times.
Please be mindful and respectful of conversation space and try not to dominate the conversation or someone else’s share time.
Autistically YOU! program is for autistic women aged 18 years and over.
Members must give each other space to talk about their experiences.
The Facilitator has permission to interrupt and move the conversation along if necessary, allowing time for each member to talk during the group session.

If at any time, you feel uncomfortable in the group or wish to leave the session, either at the time or not continue coming, please speak to Nat privately, or email on mandurahndcentre@gmail.com
Cancellation Policy
Clients are informed of the cancellation policy at the time of booking.
If you wish to receive a text message reminder, you must inform the Mandurah ND Centre at the time of booking your session. Please do not rely on this text message reminder. It is your responsibility to ensure you have scheduled in your appointment with adequate reminders (e.g. an alarm on your phone, in your diary, or on your calendar).
Late cancelled appointments impact your progress and the Mandurah ND Centre, who has scheduled time aside to see you. The aim of this policy is to reduce disruption to our diary, and loss of time in preparation because of client late cancellation, rescheduling, or missed appointments/no-shows. As well, to ensure that other clients do not miss out on the opportunity to access a session. Furthermore, to reduce a loss of income as a direct result of client cancellations.
We are a micro-business, and appreciate your support and understanding.
If you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment, please give a minimum of 24 hours’ notice.
If you cancel or reschedule your appointment within this period, or fail to attend, the cancellation fees below will apply unless there are extenuating circumstances (at the discretion of the Mandurah ND Centre).
24+ hours’ notice of cancellation or reschedule: No Fee
Less than 24 hours’ notice (including no-shows): Full Session Fee (both NDIS and or non-NDIS clients)

In Person Services During COVID-19
By attending any Mandurah ND Centre workshops in person, you are assuming the risk of exposure to COVID-19 or another public health risk. This risk may increase if you travel by public transportation, taxi, or a ride-sharing service.
To obtain services in person, you agree to take certain precautions which will help keep you, us, and the community safer from exposure and the medical consequences of contracting COVID-19.
By coming to our practice, you agree to:
• Answer questions relating to flu-like symptoms and prior travel on the day of your
appointment(s) and follow the instructions given (the instructions are based on current
Government current advice, therefore, can change from time to time)
• Arrive no earlier than 5 minutes before your appointment time
• Wash your hands or use alcohol-based hand sanitiser provided by the Mandurah ND Centre.
• Adhere to safe distancing precautions of 1.5m between yourself and others
• Adhere to good respiratory hygiene while at the practice, e.g., covering your mouth
and nose with a bent elbow or tissue when you cough or sneeze, disposing of tissues
and then using hand sanitiser.
If you arrive for an appointment and feel unwell, or believe you have been exposed to a virus, we will require you to leave immediately. The Cancellation policy (as per above) still applies.
We can reschedule your appointment or follow up with services by Telehealth as appropriate; and, If there is a resurgence of COVID-19 case numbers or if other health concerns arise, we may require that in-person sessions are postponed or held via Telehealth. If you decide at any time that you would feel safer with Telehealth services, you must let the Mandurah ND Centre know.
